The wellbeing services counties of North Ostrobothnia and Lapland have selected a solution jointly developed by Digital Workforce and Atostek to automate the archiving of data from their legacy electronic patient record (EPR) systems. The contract covers the archiving of 144 databases from twelve EPR systems, making it Finland\u2019s largest Kanta archiving project.\u202f\u202f<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Istekki <\/strong>will provide the solution to both counties through a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, with Digital Workforce and Atostek executing the work. The combined value of agreements exceeds \u20ac4,6 million.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The solution automates the extraction, conversion, and transfer of customer and patient data, regardless of the source system. It has already been used in more than half of Finland\u2019s wellbeing services counties.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The archiving will be completed over the next four years. Once the data is archived, the counties can retire their legacy systems, reducing the costs and administrative workload of maintaining multiple systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Serving a combined population of nearly 1,2 million<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

North Ostrobothnia and Lapland provide health and social care services to nearly 1,2 million people, underscoring the scale of the archiving project.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n
