At the end of March 2015, companies, researchers, and students gathered together to find new innovations for Wearable Intelligence at Tampere University of Technology (TUT).<\/p>\n
The workshop was titled as “Opportunities and Future Applications Provided by Wearable Intelligence” (\u00c4lylasiteknologian mahdollisuudet ja tulevaisuuden sovelluskohteet).<\/p>\n
The programme included visions and experiences presented by industrial and academic experts. Mr. Juha Lepp\u00e4nen, Atostek Ltd., illustrated how to apply Google Glass technology to remote maintenance in industry.<\/p>\n
-Google Glass technology is well suited for remote expert support. There is a substantial potential for cutting costs and improving quality in industrial maintenance and service by means of Wearable Intelligence, says Mr. Lepp\u00e4m\u00e4ki.<\/p>\n
