Remote monitoring of measuring devices at a glance

The challenge

Pixact provides machine vision-based solutions for demanding measurement applications in the process industry. A system was needed for remote monitoring of measuring devices to make it possible to easily see the current status of the installed devices.

The solution

Atostek implemented data collection on Pixact’s camera control system and computers. At the same time, we developed a web interface for monitoring hardware status and the alerts they give. Data collection for the cloud service was carried out with open source Zabbix software, and data visualization with the Grafana library.

The Management Dashboard interface shows at a glance the status of devices in production use, as well as any alerts that occur.
