ERA is the first system in Finland to meet the requirements of the social welfare repository integration mandate
Wellbeing Services Counties and private providers offering social welfare services are required to join Kanta by no later than September 1, 2026. Integration with the Kanta services requires a client information system that complies with the requirements of the Client Data Act.
Atostek ERA is the first system in Finland to meet the requirements of the social welfare repository integration mandate. The new functionality was implemented and jointly tested on a tight schedule, despite the stringent requirements.
– When planning begins early, tight schedules won’t become an insurmountable obstacle. We also have previous experience in efficiently implementing and successfully completing new data content and functionalities offered by the Kanta services, explains Miika Parvio, Business Director at Atostek.
ERA is an A3-class information system, enabling the Kanta compatibility of social and healthcare information systems to be implemented quickly and effortlessly. ERA provides user-friendly interfaces that allow, for example, the efficient storage of social welfare documents in the Kanta service.
Additionally, ERA includes a one-to-one interface for managing the structured data content of social welfare, such as metadata models. With ERA, any social welfare information system can be cost-effectively upgraded to comply with the requirements of the Client Data Act.
– In Finland, social welfare service providers are navigating a challenging and transformative period, during which system providers must be able to offer the best possible tools. It benefits collaborating system providers to focus on their own strengths, so they don’t have to develop and maintain everything themselves. This makes it possible to remain at the forefront of development in multiple areas, whether it’s the social welfare client data repository or AI-based documentation solutions, says Mika Sipilä, CEO of myneva Finland.
The social and healthcare software company myneva Finland has been collaborating with Atostek for a long time in preparation for transitioning to the Kanta archive for social welfare.
– Through smooth collaboration, software providers can deliver cost-effective solutions across various areas. With these, we can support the entire industry, Sipilä explains.
The social welfare client information systems offered by myneva pave the way for better client care and social work. They provide solutions for up-to-date recording, documentation, and administrative tasks.
