Atostek shares insights on secondary use of Finnish health data at Nordic Health Data Summit 30.10.2025

The Nordic Health Data Summit – VALO & FinHITS Forum will bring together healthcare experts and decision-makers from across the Nordic countries and Europe in Helsinki at the end of October. The event focuses on the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and how its implementation can be advanced through collaboration.

Mika Torhola, Business Director at Atostek, will present a practical case example on the secondary use of Finnish social and health data and the opportunities it offers for research, development, and innovation.

The event also provides an overview of the latest results from the VALO and FinHITS projects, as well as examples of how data sharing and collaboration strengthen the Nordic region’s leading position in the use of health data. The Nordic Health Data Summit will take place in Helsinki on 30 October 2025.
