Making the world a better place at Ultrahack – Atostek participates with healthcare digitalization solution for Jordan

Atostek participates in Ultrahack’s Jordan innovation program in search of solutions for various healthcare issues.

The goal of UltraHack is to take Finnish know-how to different parts of the world. Under the Innovation Program, services will be tailored to the Jordan region and Atostek will participate by offering healthcare applications for the challenges of remote healthcare services and healthcare data archiving.

Of Atostek’s products, both Recibus and Clinibus are interesting options, as they can quickly make possible things like an electronic risk information view and electronic vaccination card in tandem with remote healthcare services.

– A centralized data resource facilitates the flow of information and makes using remote healthcare services easier. Even if access to a doctor is hundreds of miles away, people often still have a smartphone. A doctor can work at the University of Jordan at Amman, for example, and still care for patients from further afield – this way groups like people living in rural areas could have access to advanced healthcare, says healthcare solution architect Miika Järvinen from Atostek.

– Here in Finland, electronic healthcare systems are already well developed. Although they are not perfect, they do address real, genuine needs. We want to spread this know-how further and, for our part, help lighten the workload of healthcare professionals outside of Finland as well, says CEO Mika Torhola.
